Cause of death: General Sclerosis or Old Age

Sclerosis refers to the hardening of muscle tissue in the body. On her death certificate, the doctor wrote she died of "general sclerosis due to age". She was 65. Aniela was living with her daughter, Marya Dyskiewicz, at 644 South 11th Street in Newark when she became ill in December of 1916. When the doctor was called to her home on April 16, she was already dead. She was buried at Holy Sepuchre Cemetery in East Orange, New Jersey.
