My four-times great-grandparents Theobald Bauer and Elisabetha Huber were
born and married in Bruecken. Eventually, they made their way 130 miles southeast
of Bruecken to Obermusbach. Their son, Christian Bauer, my great-great-great-
grandfather, was born in Obermusbach, where he married Catherine Horn. She
was born in Darmstadt, which is located about 115 miles north of Obermusbach.
