Diedenbergen was the home town of Thomas Homberger the Cowherd, his wife Anna Maria Kopf, and their son, Johannes Homburger the Blacksmith (1677-1765).

Baden-Wurttemberg is a post-World War II 'combination' of the previously separate-for-centuries states of Baden, Wurttemberg, and Hohenzollern.

Dietlingen is where Friedrich Bittlingmeier was born, around 1720.

Oberderdingen is where Friedrich's son Johann Melchoir Bittlingmeier (1745-1805) was born.

Hasselbach was where Melchoir met and married Susanna Homburger in 1765.
It was the birthplace of several Bittlingmeiers.

Adersbach was the birthplace of several other Bittlingmeiers.

Walheim was the birthplace of Eva Dorothea Gabler (1782-1847), the wife of Johann Phillip Bittlingmeier (1777-1858).

Huffenhardt was the birthplace of Margaretha Christina Gauss (1807-1867). It was here that she and Christoph Ludwig Bittlingmeier (1808-1876) had a son, Philipp Adam, in 1838,
5 years before they actually married in Huffenhardt in 1843.
