Cause of death: Chronic Nephritis
Chronic Nephritis is a chronic (long duration) inflammation of the tissues of the kidney. It is caused by a wide variety of factors. The disease is frequently associated with a slow, progressive loss of kidney function. Christian was working as a hatter in Newark when he became ill and died in St. Michael's Hospital. He was buried in Woodland Cemetery.
